Hi. I am Dr. Brian Dooreck. I am a university-trained, actively practicing board-certified gastroenterologist and hepatologist (GI and liver diseases). I know the healthcare system and what is needed to navigate it.

Today you have options. I have seen this problem thousands of times—and solve it for those I work with.

What is a Patient Advocate?
A guide. A navigator. Essentially a medical “Sherpa” to guide you through a very broken and complex healthcare system.
What I do in this space—at the level I do it—is not something I share with everyone. Nor is it something I can offer to everyone. Let's start by reaching out to me.
What is my academic background?
I completed my undergraduate degree at Stony Brook University, followed by my Post-Baccalaureate while at the Harvard School of Public Health, before earning my medical degree (M.D.) from The Sackler School of Medicine New York State/American Program. My Internal Medicine Residency and year as Chief Resident in New York City were at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, a Columbia University teaching hospital, followed by clinical training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and distinguished Center for Liver Diseases. I joined Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Centers | browardgi.com and the Memorial Healthcare System in 2005 where I have held leadership positions.
